Chest weighting

If you grab the hip controller and rotate it 90 degrees on the Y axis, you'll see that the chest "implodes" in the sides and the arms go all crooked.

i see what you mean however that is not the hip control that causes the problem that is the spine root, will tweak this for a the next iteration, however what animation would you be creating in which you'd need to move the body at such a sharp angle while everything is static?

Thanks for responding. Really nothing very strenuous. I uploaded the blocking so you can see it (https://www.vimeo.com/9952510). I might have a slightly dark sense of humor... Anyways, the dino comes in from the side, and makes a 90 degree turn. And just doing that you can see that his arms are turned almost all the way over and his shoulders are all messed up. I really love this rig. I've had an obsession with dinosaurs since I was a kid. I wanted to be a paleontologist until I saw Jurrassic Park. Then I decided to be an animator instead. If you could fix that for me I would be really grateful.

Hey I was just thinking. It looks like all it's doing is rotating the shoulder bone. I think if you made it so that one could rotate the shoulders, that might be a work around. Right now you can only translate.
