I'm not sure if this a squirrely problem or not.  However, I can't reproduce the problem with any other rig so far.  So I'm assuming that its at least partially a squirrely problem.

When I reference squirrely for animating everything works fine until I close the file I'm using for animating and re-open it.  It gives me an error that says it can't read line 0 and though it loads the squirrely  reference all of the key frames are lost.  This seems to only happen when I reference the file.  Works fine if I animate in the squirrely file directly and do a save as.

 I'm using Maya 2011 on a MAC OSX 10.6.2

Thanks

Hi, I did further investigation. The loss of the keyframes in the animation file was definitely a Maya 2011 problem that is solved with hotfix 3. However, I still get the can't read line 0 error when opening a file that references squirrely but not when opening squirrely directly. However, it seems to work anyway. Thanks.
