Auto ImagePlane Loader is a free script provided for modelers who have to go through lots of manual process to load image planes in each camera. It is a simple window which collates and uploads all image planes in one go.

Auto ImagePlane Loader v1.0 was a small project conducted at Super Artist (, an institute for CG Artists who are willing to learn Maya Embedded Language (MEL) and Python for Maya.
Auto ImagePlane Loader is targeted towards modelers who have to go through manual loading of Image Planes every time they work on a model. Enjoy the script and please give valuable feedbacks. 

Key Features:

> Automatically loads all orthographic Image Planes if named correctly (please refer How to Use section below).
> Provides all necessary attributes that are required to tweak the Image Planes in one common window.
> Auto Place On Grid feature is available to automatically place all Image Planes on the grid.

How to Use:

> Make sure you have all the required images in one folder itself.
> Please name the files with a suffix or prefix of front, side and top respectively with the names of the images.
> Run the Auto ImagePlane Loader and browse the images folder.
> Once the Image Plane pops-up, adjust its position using the attributes provided.

P.S: the Auto ImagePlane uploader only works with file types that are compatible with Autodesk Maya.
