Performance drop and crashes when working with a large number of UVs - 2016

I've been running v2.0.10 and it's been working fine. But when I downloaded and installed v2.1.1 (removed 2.0.10) I ran in to some really strange performance drops when using marking menus. It even froze and crashed Maya 2016 ext 1 sp 6.

Hello, Do you get the same performance issue if you revert back to the native editor (clicking the "Default UV Editor" button)? NSUV doesn't perform any kind of memory management, and the popup of marking menues isn't built upon complex logic. Unfortunately Maya has a tendency to be a bit unstable, regardless of what scripts or plugins you use. Third-party software is usually only responsible for crashes when the code gets stuck in infinite loops or if a plugin performs bad memory management. Try upgrading to Maya 2016 Ext 2 and see if it helps.
