Hi there, it's the first time I have to install a Maya Plugin,
may you explain me how to install this very useful tool?
I work under OSX.

Instruction from inside the mel script:
Install Instructions:
1. Copy the mel script (pose2shelf.mel) to your local user/scripts folder:
(win2000 example path to mel scripts folder):
C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME*\My Documents\maya\#.#\scripts
2. MAKE SURE YOUR SHELF IS VISBLE!
Then just source the script in the script editor, or type:
source pose2shelf.mel;
into the Maya command line, and hit enter.
You should now have a new shelf button, labeld "p2s" click it, and you will
get the script's Ui... The buttons all have roll-over annotations, and
should be pretty self explanatory. You must have an object selected,
and your shelf visible for this script to work. enjoy!

In the case on os x, go to your personal folder and locate your Library>Preference>Autodesk>Maya(version)>Script folder and plonk it in there.
