Feature Request

Spine Length scale with main rig

Status:added

Hi, I noticed that if you scale the rig using Scale X on the MainC control, the Spine Length is an absolute measurement; it doesn't scale automatically. So if the entire rig is scaled to .1, the Spine Length will read .1 even though the relative spine length is 1. I fixed this pretty quickly with an extra MD node that takes MainC.ScaleX as input and multiplies it by the numeric value of the spine length (found in spineLength_MD). The output of that adjustment node is piped into spineLength_MD where the fixed numeric value was before, and now Spine Length remains at 1 when the rig is scaled up/down. It's a really small thing, but it makes sure that your nice Spine Length meter remains useful for animators even when they scale the rig :) cheers, jim

Hey Jim, Thanks for finding that! I will get a fix for that in the next update. Not much point in even having the length there if it doesn't work properly :) Dustin
