More Scaling Control

Hey Dustin. RIG is still getting better and better. I was just wondering if its possible to give us more control with scaling parts. What I mean by this is, right now the only thing you can really scale is the shoulder and only when in FK and it proportionality scales the whole arm. It would be nice to have the ability to have an individual scale for both the upper and lower arm. Same as for the legs. A scale for both the upper and lower leg. Also, can the hand scale be divided into x, y, and z separately so that you have more control because sometimes if i want to do a smear frame and cant just stretch the hand out and make it long and skinny. These little extras would make a huge difference to us cartoony animators. Thanks for listening.

    Haven't heard from you in a while, glad to hear you are still using the rig! I am planning on adding in the independent scaling for the knees and elbows. Another reason for adding it is it will help with IK/FK matching when using the knee locking. The hand scale is definitely something I am looking into. I was working on it and had to shelf it for a while because it was giving me too much grief. I am working on a feature right now that is taking a considerable amount of time, which is why there hasn't been an update for a while, but once I can get that rolled out, I will be revisiting some of these and other feature requests ASAP. Thanks for your patience, hopefully you have been making some great animations! Dustin

Alright, well thanks for news update. I looking forward to it. Oh, and just curious, will these independent scales be for both FK and IK, cuz that would soooo amazing if they were ;)
