// Error: No object matches name: |Genesio__v1:Genesio_ROOTC //

Hi there,
I've been having some problems when using the RapidRig tools' panel.. I keep getting this kind of mesage:

// Error: No object matches name: |Genesio__v1:Genesio_ROOTC //

// Error: No object matches name: |Genesio__v1:Genesio_rClavicleC //

// Warning: SELECTION IS NOT A FINGER OR TOE CONTROL. NO ACTION WAS TAKEN //

The character in subject (Genesio) is a referenced file but neither the original file is working properly with any of the mirroring, ik/fk switching, selection tools and etc.

I can upload the character if you want to take a deeper look into it..

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael, If you could upload the file, that would be great. You can email it to me at: dustin(at)rapidrig(dot)com I'll look into the issue you are having asap. Dustin

Hi Michael, The issue is caused by the name of your character rig being the same as the name of your model. So having multiple nodes in the same scene with the same names causes issues when calling for a selection. The easiest fix is to rename your character's geometry to anything else. Even calling it Genesio_Geo or something will work. Dustin
