Toe joint setup can't be moved on Y

awesome rig.. :)
I'm having a really weird problem with the wrist skin.. the joint of the wrist does not seem to influence the geometry, only the following joints.
I tried a few times already, always encountering the same problem.
I think it's a problem in the rig.
I've attached an image to demonstrate the problem.

    Oh hell, wrong title for the thread.. sorry, it's about the wrist, not the toe.

    Hi Dustin, both wrists I'm afraid :) I thought it's a problem on my end for a while but there's no way for me to skin the mesh in a way that would fix it. The problem occurs due to how the controllers are attached. if I break the connections of the rotations in the channel box in the wrist join the skin works fine. In order to fix it I had to break connections on the joint rotation channels, parent the IK controller to the joint and then parent the FK controller to the IK controller but it does break the stretchy effect.
