Moving a joint's position after rig has been created and mesh is skinned

Submitted by: Todd Gunther Todd Gunther

Hey Dustin,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I have a RRM Rig that I've created and skinned my character to. As I am moving the rig around to adjust the skinning, I'm noticing that a few of the joints need to be moved for better deformation. Is there an easy way to adjust the joints without having to regenerate the rig?

Actually I figured a way to do it. Found a script to save out the skin weights, then just adjust the proxies and regenerate the rig and add the skin back on.
