This script adds in a menu item that allows you to revert the scene file to the latest saved version. Please do not redistribute this script.
Please, enjoy it!
Installation instructions: Place script into your user scripts directory. Macintosh: /Library/Preferences/Alias(Autodesk)/maya/scripts Windows: C:/Documents and Settings/*User*/My Documents/maya/Scripts
Put "revert();" (no quotes) into userSetup.mel. If it doesn't exist, create it. When you start Maya, there should be a new menu item under the File menu called "Revert", or if you are using Maya 2010/2011, it will create a shelf button in the current shelf.
Usage: Click the Revert menu item to revert the scene to the last saved version
