  I was just able to get Maya 2014 installed and running, and I can't seem to replicate the problem. I hope it is working well for you now. -Seamus

  I didn't alter the script at all to get it to run in 2014. I simply loaded it in the same way by running this in the script editor (or in a shelf button) using python import DockTools reload(DockTools) DockTools.Dock() You actually don't need to reload it, so you can use just, import DockTools DockTools.Dock()
