The user supplies a selection of polygon objects, the script will group them, add a Smooth (subdivision) modifier to all the faces, create a subDivision node on the group, then through an expression, link the subDivision values of the objects to this node.
The second part of the script will bring up a dialog to adjust the smoothing of the group. The idea being that you could animate a nice low res pseudo-subDivsion base, then bump up the smooth at render time.
