I spent last few months doing this animation in my spare time. I know there's still a lot to improve and to polish but I can't afford spending more time on it. This is not a short film, just a character acting study. I think of it as a little bit of expanded exercise which also covers some other skills like directing, editing, camera work, lighting, etc. I used dialogue from one of my favourite movies, "Coffee and Cigarettes" by Jim Jarmush (the very last episode called "Champagne"). It was very challenging working with these unstressed voices, searching for gestures and giving characters their attitudes. And it was also very interesting because of the same given calmness. I made these characters using the gorgeous Morpheus Rig by Josh Burton (huge thanks, man!). This rig is fantastic, you can really make any type of person or character you want. The background music is "La Vie En Rose" by the great Louis Armstrong. Here is the original movie part: youtube.com/watch?v=-FYLkBcJBys
